Alice Faye Pavlik age 80 of Coal City, WV was called home on April 18th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born on January 30, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Troy Cole and Ruth Sanger. In addition to her parents she is greeted in heaven by her husband Johnny Pavlik, brothers Buddy Cole, Jack Blankenship, brother in laws, Stanley Belcher, Joey Brown, daughter Laura Maillet, stepmother Ruby Cole, and niece and nephew Sandy Belcher, and Carl Belcher.
Those left behind to forever hold and cherish her memory are her children, Alisa Maillet, Richard (Sheena)Pavlik, grandchildren Wayne Kuhn, Michael Maillet, CJ Maillet, Ashley Kuhn, Hannah Pavlik, and Layla Weis, great-grandchildren, Anthonee Kuhn Nevaeh Carr, KaLeah Carr, great-great grandchildren Mason, and Jameson, brother Dave (Frenchie) Cole, and sisters Phyllis Belcher, Betty Brown, and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family who will all miss her dearly.
Alice was a very loving woman, always taking care of and spending time with her family, she enjoyed gardening, and the outdoors in her free time. She was a very devout Christian woman as well always studying scripture and her bible, and spreading God's love to her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday April, 23, 2024 at the Pavlik Cemetery located at 181 Mill Hollow Road, Glen Daniel WV, at 2pm with the Reverend Tommy Dove officiating. The family will accept friends two hours prior. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff and doctors at CAMC, and Bowers Hospice House for all of their love, care, and compassion shown to Faye, and the family during this difficult time.
