A private funeral service will be held at Melton Mortuary in Beckley.
Rhonda Lilley, a bar manager and resident of Beckley, WV, died unexpectedly on February 5, 2018 at the age of 64 while resting at Bowers Hospice House.
Rhonda is survived by her son, Jordan Lilley; her granddaughters, Montana Painter, Alexis Painter, and Michelle Painter; her sister, Patty Sanders-McKenzie; her brother, Rick Sanders; and a seemingly unending list of close friends who cared very deeply for her as she did just the same.
Rhonda was born in Richwood, WV, on February 4th, 1954 to Maxine and Ronald Sanders. She chose bartending as her primary trade, and throughout her extensive career she ended-up owning her very own, successful business, Rhonda’s, in Daniels, WV. Her career ended as a bar manager for the Beckley Moose Lodge where she was dearly loved by her co-workers and patrons alike.
Rhonda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all in her company. She enjoyed songwriting and was an avid reader. She was known as one of the most skilled bar tenders in the entirety of Southern West Virginia. She had consistently made a name for herself as being one of the kindest individuals in any business she was a part of, while always having a loving home open to any in need. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
