Phyllis Kay Camden
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies
On Saturday, January 6th, 2018, the gem of our family, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Phyllis Camden went to see her Lord and Savior.
One of three children, Phyllis Kay Fuson was born on July 29th, 1943, at Eccles. She was the daughter of the late Rev.’s Jess Marion Fuson and Clemma Fuson Pugh.
Phyllis grew up in Eccles, she attended Trap High School. Phyllis had a long career in the banking industry, first working for Beckley National Bank retiring from Bank One as a loan officer. She was a devoted member of the Glen White Church of God.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Eugene Camden; she was the loving mother of Rhonda Beheler and her husband, Tim, Renee Lawrence and her husband, Lee; the proud “Ma Maw Phyllis” of Brandon Sauls and his wife, Jennifer, Stephanie Hull and her husband, Michael, Jeremy Sauls, Kristen Turschmann and her husband, Richie and Nicholas Lawrence; the great-grandmother of Isaac Sauls, Joshua Sauls, Sarah Sauls, Seth Sauls and Ethan Hull; the dear sister, of Jess Fuson and his wife, Yuwen and Barbara Fraley and her husband, Bill; a large extended family including the Pugh family and her banking friends and church family.
There will be “A Service of Remembrance” on Wednesday, January 10 at 1:00 pm at the Glen White Church of God. Pastor Jesse Farley will be officiating. Phyllis will be laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning at 11:00 am at the church. The honor of carrying Phyllis has been given to Russell Sears, Davey Duncan, Jerry Doss, Bob Acord, Charles Canaday and Dennis Haga.
