Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Melton Mortuary with Pastor Keith Manning officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friend Monday evening from 6 PM to 8pm at the funeral home.

Molly Naoma Shrewsberry

Molly Naoma Shrewsberry, age 88, of Ghent, West Virginia, departed this life on November 2, 2018 at the Raleigh Center, in Daniels, West Virginia. Born July 1, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Charlie E. Reedy and Stacy (Hylton) Jewell Reedy Wallace. Molly was a homemaker and former cook at the elementary school in Odd, WV.

Molly spent her childhood in the community of Odd, West Virginia and moved to Ghent in 1948. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, working in her flowers and entertaining her family, whom she loved dearly.

Molly was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren Wintford Shrewsberry; a daughter, Kathy Royster; granddaughter, Da’Anna Harfield; brothers, Joe Reedy, Alvin Jewell, and Bill Jewell; and sister, Rachel Hylton.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Harold Shrewsberry (Kwang-Hui) of Front Royal, Virginia, Warren Shrewsberry (Freida) of Shady Spring, and Randy Shrewsberry (Vickie) of Josephine; two daughters, Trilla Wills of Ghent, Stacy Holt (Gary) of Flat Top; two brothers, Dennis Meadows of Cool Ridge, Charles Wallace of Florida; two sisters, Delma Byrd of Tennessee, and Brenda Roark of Coal City. She is further survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
