Mildred (Millie) Truman Moore Francisco of 111 Ford Street, Beckley is now in Heaven. Millie’s soul entered into Jesus’ arms on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Bower’s Hospice House. Per her request, visitation will start at 1:00 with the memorial service at 3:00 on Friday July 6, 2018 at the United Methodist Temple where she was a faithful and active member for eighty three years. Millie loved her church, its ministry, its people and was active in many outreach programs.
Millie is survived by her daughter Jane Moore Pierce (George) of Murrells Inlet, SC; stepson, Charles Kenneth Moore (Betty Sue), of Athens, Ohio; David Francisco of Lima, Ohio; Anne Francisco Pinney, Logan, Ohio; granddaughter Heather Maxwell (Mark) of Dunbar, WV; and granddaughter Stephanie White (Jay) of Charlotte, NC. Millie leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Callie, Thomas and Hailey along with many nephews and nieces.
Millie was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Kenneth (Skipper) Moore, in 1972 and by husband, George Francisco, in 1978. She also predeceased her parents, Alfred and Annie Truman; siblings: Alfred Truman, Doris Houck, Evelyn Blymyer, Glades White, Edith Okes and Arthur Truman.
Millie worked as an accountant for W.I. Ennis, Accounting; Vecellio and Grogan, and Bluestone Coal Company.
Per Millie’s request, van drivers from UMC will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank her special friend, Meg, her church family, great neighbors and friends who were always there for her. We would also like to thank the Hospice Home nurses and the staff at the Bower’s Hospice House for all of the care, support and love they gave to Millie and her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the United Methodist Temple ( 201 Templeview Drive, Beckley, WV 25801) or Bowers Hospice House ( 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley W V 25801).
