Glenna J. Nobles
Ms Glenna J. Nobles passed away on Sunday February 4, 2018 at CAMC Memorial in Charleston, West Virginia.
Glenna was born December 13, 1961 at Camp Lejune in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Robert Murdock and Shelvy Murdock of Prosperity, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Murdock and her only sibling Scott Murdock of Smyrna Tennessee.
Glenna is survived by her best friend and life companion of nearly 20 years, Roger Pack; her mother Shelvy Murdock; her son Roger and wife Michelle Gilland of Leesville, SC; son Christopher Gilland of Oak Hill; daughter Angaleigh Nobles of Scarbro, and daughter Stacey Nobles of Beckley; her grandchildren; Ryan Gilland, Hannah Dorsey, Aaron Gilland, Alexes Gilland, Felicity Nobles, Anastasia Nobles, Madysin Nobles, Seth Nobles and Caiden Canterberry; two great grandchildren; Joseph Dorsey and Cage Gilland; and sister-in-law Sharon Murdock also survive.
Glenna will be remembered as a selfless, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a retired registered nurse from Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital. When she wasn’t caring for others, she was an active mother and grandmother of football players, cheer, band and other various sports and activities for more than thirty years. Glenna was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Her Memorial Service will be Saturday February 10, 2018 at Melton Mortuary, 1200 Harper Road, Beckley, West Virginia 25801. Family and friends will gather from 12-2 PM for the viewing, and funeral services will be at 2 PM. Burial will follow directly at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
