On Wednesday November 21, 2018, God called His precious angel home.

Cledith Taylor Workman was born June 21, 1934 in Clear Creek, West Virginia to the late Edgar Taylor and Ella Lilly Taylor of Clear Creek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Workman, a son, Ricky Workman, and two brothers, Nicky and Benny.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children; son, Billy Ray and wife Charlotte; son, Johnny and wife Connie; daughter Connie Sue; daughter, Teresa and husband Brian, all of Maple Fork; daughter, Brenda of Beckley and David Mays of Beckley, whom she thought of as a son. She also leaves behind; sisters, Margaret, Nonearl, Glida (and Jerry), Katy, Betty (and Ronald), Faith (and Herman); brothers, Jerry (and Sherry), David (and Sandra), Mitchell, and Ernie (and Teresa); sister-in-law, Beverly; daughter-in-law, Carrie; and the 14 grandchildren and 19 great=grandchildren that she loved dearly. Her granddaughter, Amanda, resided with her and was a loving caregiver.

Cledith was a homemaker and a loving second mom to many that grew up in the Maple Fork area. She was kind to everyone and known for her sense of humor and loving nature.

We would like to thank the nurses and staff at Bowers Hospice House, especially Jane, Becky, and “Jack” who were there to wrap their arms around us when we needed it most; Bruce, of Meltons; a special “thanks” to sister Sandra Taylor for all that you have always done and for being a true friend and great sister-in-law. Thanks to our aunts, uncles and cousins for your help and support. Thanks to all the neighbors and friends that visited and showed your love.

Services will be Friday November 23, 2018 at 3 PM at the Ewing Creek Church of Jesus Christ in Toney Fork (on Calvary Lane). The family will receive friends at    2 PM.
