On Sunday, November 11th, 2018, out most loved, Betty Ann Bonds of Arnett formally of Naoma fought the fight and kept the faith and received her reward, passing away at home with her family by her side.   She was 75 years of age.

Betty was born on November 5th, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio.   She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Margaret O’Bannon.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Arthur Wayman Bonds, Jr., who her heart ached and longed for until her death; a grandson, Phillip M. Saul; sisters, Glenda Cain, Margaret Hotz and a brother, Petey O’Bannon.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Arthur Wayman “Jack” Bonds; daughters, Bonnie Ann Saul and her husband, Kent of Wadestown, Jackie Marie Cantley and her husband, Timothy Acord of Arnett; sisters, Joyce Hudak of Strongsville, Ohio and brother, Ron O’Bannon of Parma, Ohio; her grandchildren whom she adored, Jeremy Cantley, Kent “Bubba” Saul, Brandon Bonds, Kendal Saul, Timothy “TJ” Acord, Dylan Bonds and Casey Goodman.

Betty always worked with her hands, making crafts and painting beautiful scenery.  Later as her ministry, when she was unable to get out, she started to crochet dishcloths and make key chains with Bible verses, expressing words of encouragement.  Betty would hand them out at doctors or dialysis appointments to whomever she thought might need to be cheered up that day.

Betty loved her dog, Bella and kept the faith for the Cleveland Browns.  Her “dash” was lived for God first, family and anyone she thought needed encouragement.

We would like to thank all the nurses at Fresenius Dialysis Center for the special treatment and care they gave her.  A special thanks from PCH home health care.’
