Bobbi Lou Day Comer, 59, of Cunard, WV, passed away peacefully at home on September 3rd, 2017.
Born June 22, 1958 in Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Charles Porter Day Jr, and Carolyn Marietta Day,
Survivors include her two daughters, Laura Comer of Fayetteville and Jennifer Bodkin and husband Shawn of Oak Hill; two grandchildren, Hannah and Shawn Bodkin; two brothers, Gregory Day and wife Debby (whom Bobbi thought of as a sister) of Cunard and Charles Porter Day II and wife Teresa of Millwood; two sisters, Regina Snuffer and husband Eric of Fayetteville and Beverly Jenkins and husband Marty of Cunard; her ex-husband Edward Comer; five nieces, Angela Cox, Amanda Bennett, Leah Bellew, Erica Jennings and Rachel Patrick; five nephews, Laben Day, Charles “CD” Day, Jaron Kelly, Cory Day and Clayton Jenkins; five great nieces and five great nephews including baby Grayson who is on the way; also many cousins and friends who loved her very much.
Bobbi was a homemaker and devoted mother to her daughters. After raising her children, she worked in retail for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping and most of all spending time with her family. Bobbi’s caring nature and giving spirit will forever be remembered in the hearts of those that knew and loved her. Bobbi had recently accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and the family takes comfort in knowing she is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Fayetteville Christ Fellowship Church on Nickelville Road, Fayetteville on Friday September 8, 2017 at 1:00 pm; interment will follow in the Huse Memorial Park Cemetery, Fayetteville. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 am until the service time.
